Not that this is a big surprise, but:

This was never seriously in doubt, as the plain letter of the law mandated that it be so. Much like the constitutional issues surrounding themandate/penalty/tax fine, there has always been a simple remedy, the courage to undertake it notwithstanding.
Even Justice Sonia Sotomayor, hardly a right-wing shill, opined that this was "a principle as old as the nation itself: The Government should honor its obligations."
Seems pretty clear-cut to me.
