So, just shy of 5 years ago, barely 7 months into The ObamaTax, we caught this:
"Under the new policy, outlined in a Medicare regulation, the government will pay doctors who advise patients on options for end-of-life care, which may include advance directives to forgo aggressive life-sustaining treatment."
That is, Bonus Bucks for doc's pushing what is, in effect, the (discredited) Liverpool Pathway.
But that was then, and this is now, right?
Um:
"Advocates for better end-of-life care expect Medicare to soon announce that it will start paying physicians for having advanced-care planning conversations with patients."
Sound familiar?
Welcome back, Death Panels.
