Raising Oregon's cigarette tax to $2.02 per pack would cause smokers to buy 28 million fewer packs of cigarettes per year, but still would generate more than enough money to provide health insurance to all uninsured Oregon children.

Maybe GA (and 14 other states where SCHIP is failing) should be watching.
