By now we all have heard about Congress and their staffers being removed from the Federal Health Plan and being placed into
exchanges marketplaces. Mike did a post on it
here. We also know that the Office of Personnel Management has determined that they can still contribute to the employees premiums. This is a BFD when other employers are not allowed to do the same.
Here is another BFD that hasn't gotten any attention.
Exchanges marketplaces are only available to people up through age 64. So what does OPM plan to do with the 140+ members of Congress (
38 Senators and 106 House) who are over age 65?
