This is definitely an election year, and we have never been shy about pointing out the shameless pandering of elected officials when they are vying for votes.
This year is no different.
But one topic near and dear to our hearts must be addressed if we are to do our job. That is the issue of so-called "universal health care".
While the presidential candidates get the most press, it is actually Congress that makes the laws and decides how they will spend YOUR money. With regard to proposed changes in health care delivery and funding, there are two questions you need to ask yourself. More precisely, these are questions you need to ask the candidates since the main stream media will not.
"How will their plan control health care COSTS without rationing health care?"
and
"How will they pay for the coverage?"
No other questions really matter.
If you pay close attention, you will notice those questions are never asked, and if they are, they are never answered.
Wonder why?
